In the emails that Yell if it changes sends out to its users, there is a link in the email to the web address the user is watching. This allows a user to click the link to visit the site they are watching to see the changes.

I have added a redirect to this link to record the address being linked to, the browser agent and the date/time before forwarding to the URL being watched.

As well as recording this info for stats, I am thinking this info could be used to see if a users email address is no longer active and unsubscribe the address automatically after 50 or so notifications without activity.

In each email there is also a link to allow a user to log in to Yell if it changes to update or stop the notifications they are receiving.
