The T.33 Spider from Gordon Murray combines the beautiful, timeless design of the T.33 with an even more immersive driving experience. With two removable roof panels, a deployable rear window and the naturally aspirated GMA.2 V12 positioned behind the cabin, there is simply no other supercar like it. Developed in parallel with the T.33 and sharing the same Ultralight® carbon monocoque technology, the T.33 Spider is meticulously engineered to deliver exceptional torsional stiffness for outstanding ride, handling and agility, without adding unnecessary weight. In meeting these targets, and adhering to the company's seven core principles, the T.33 Spider sets a new benchmark for open-top supercars.

The T.33 Spider is the lightest open-top supercar in its class. This lightweight philosophy is realised through iStream® Ultralight carbon monocoque technology, combining carbon-fibre composite panels bonded to extruded aluminium tubing and precision die-cast nodes. The result is the optimal balance of exceptional stiffness and remarkably low mass.
A new evolution of the world's finest V12
The greatest supercar engines are invariably V12s, and there is no finer example than the naturally aspirated Cosworth-built GMA V12, first introduced in the T.50. In its GMA.2 configuration, as found in the T.33 and now the T.33 Spider, the 3.9-litre V12 weighs just 178 kg, revs to 11,100 rpm, and delivers 617 PS at 10,250 rpm. No rival can match these figures — or even come close. Astonishingly tractable, 90 per cent of maximum torque is available from 4,500 to 10,500 rpm, making it as usable day-to-day as it is thrilling at the limit.

The interior is simple, functional and beautifully crafted, with nothing superfluous, every element exists to heighten driving enjoyment. Lightweight, tactile materials and a classically inspired layout are complemented by precision details such as machined aluminium controls, a 120 mm analogue tachometer and an exposed gearchange. The result is a focused, distraction-free driving environment with a subtle sense of openness.

The Creation of the T.33 Spider
The T.33 Spider was the first of the T.33 family Gordon ever drew. Conceived from the very first sketch as an open car, its proportions were deliberately shaped to flatter a roofless silhouette. Developed in parallel with the coupé, it shares the same Ultralight carbon monocoque yet was engineered from the outset to achieve a higher torsional stiffness target. The result is an open supercar without the usual compromise: the same precision, the same purity, the same V12.
